"I purchased a 66 Chevelle SS from Marvin McDougal and Sonoma Classic Motorcars without the benefit of seeing it in person. He did an excellent job describing and representing the car and providing information and pictures. He set up shipping options and assisted with the shipping of the car. After receiving the car, I found that that it was everything that it was supposed to be. I highly recommend and endorse Marvin and Sonoma Classic Motorcars. "

1964 Ford GT40 Prototype, chassis No.102, with a great background history. We are offering you an outstanding package of exciting looks and thrilling experience. The first GT40 was completed early 1964 to to beat ‘il Commendatore’ Ferrari in the Le Mans 24 Hours race. Following the first Ford GT40, GT/101, made its British Press debut April 2, 1964, the second car, GT/102, was debuted for the April Le Mans practice weekend
After solving severe rear lifting issues, which made these cars too dangerous to drive at high speed, GT/102 entered into its first competition at the Nurburgring 1,000-km race 1964.
Although it was forced to finish at the 300-km mark due to the rear suspension, GT-102 showed everyone surprisingly strong and highest performance racing car, ahead of all the Ferraris except Surtees’ 330P. The #102 entered several test runs and races in 1964, and showed the world the Ford GT40 is a forthcoming serious competitor. In 1964, it crashed at Monza test run and sent to the scrap dealer who sold #102 to Vasek Polak (Vasek Polak Racing inc.) He left it in his garage for about 15 years, where it remained untouched. In 1978, It was sold to Ellwood Seabrooke Motors, who replaced the front part of the car and rebuilt it in optical and technical configuration of an MK1, in a street legal version. They used it as street car and in 1997, sold to Mr. Fatemi who imported it to Europe.
The GT40 has been rebuilt to be a competitive and safe race car.

Two 212 F1 chassis were built. One with a De Dion rear axle (chassis 102) and one car with a swing axle (chassis 110). The car was powered by a 2562 cc V12 engine. The Ferrari 212 F1 (chassis 102) made its debut at the 1951 Syracuse Grand Prix where it was driven by Dorino Serafini. Serafini finished second behind Ferrari teammate Luigi Villoresi. Two weeks later Serafini was back behind the wheel of the car at Pau. He qualified the car in third place but retired from the race after 49 laps due to steering problems.
